FIVE HOUSES OF PROSTITUTION CLOSED

FIVE HOUSES OF PROSTITUTION CLOSED

BY THE POWER OF GOD

...the true story about the closing of Wallace, Idaho's five downtown whorehouses in 1982.

Bro. Donald M. Orand and Pastor Raymond Hull of the Wallace Assembly of God standing together against prostitution in 1982.

Wallace, Idaho - After having exhausted all judicial, executive and administrative remedies, in an attempt to close five houses of illegal prostitution in down town Wallace, Idaho God led Bro. Orand to the madam/owner and proprietor of all five houses of prostitution, where he moved through the 'word of knowledge' and 'prophesy' to reveal the hidden things of the madam's heart which convinced her to close down and padlock all five whorehouses.

"The gifts of the Spirit of God are given for a greater purpose than enhancing a 'church service.'  The gifts of the Spirit of God are given to change lives, families, and entire communities."  Bro. Donald M. Orand

Rejoicing around the 'Ten Commandments' written upon stone placed at the corner of the

County Courthouse  within a 'stone's throw' of one of the brothels, the church of the Wallace

Assembly of God gathers to stand publicly with their Pastor and Bro. Orand over the miraculous

closing of all five houses of prostitution.

The illegal prostitution, being operated openly in Wallace, Idaho had brought a tremendous reproach upon all of the honest citizens of the town.  Wallace, Idaho is a town of less than two thousand citizens in the 'silver valley' of Idaho, called such because of the seven silver mines located in the area from which America receives the majority of its silver.  To satisfy the sexual desires of the mining community, Ms. Delores Arnold maintained five brothels.  The girls that worked in these brothels were brought to Wallace from out of state where they were 'locked in' and denied outside access.  When the daughters and sisters of Wallace, Idaho would graduate from high school and leave to attend college at the state colleges, they would be mocked and scorned as a result of the infamy of their community.

This was the condition. when God brought Bro. Orand to Wallace Assembly of God and told him "I will give you a revival here."  And so He did, shaking the whole town, and effecting the entire state!
